These are my 3 logos for The Marching Ants. I really wanted to include a group of ants to make it look like they are marching. The tools I used for this were mainly the magic wand, free transform, the paint bucket, and I used a warped and 3-D tool for the text. I used derivative workings because I took other peoples creations and added them into my own. This is still legal. For the first two logos I wanted to make the letters look like they were 3 dimensional, making it seem as if the ants were carrying food.
I liked the idea of the of having the ants carry the letters, like they do food, but I think it could have been executed better. I felt that the letters should have been warped to look like the ants are actually holding their weight.
ReplyDeleteLexi, Your logo design is great. I love the 3D txt that you used in your design. I like that you formed the text to blend in with the letters. What I think you should Add to the deign to make it better is put smaller ants over the text. All you need to do is go to google images, find a picture, save to downloads, go to photoshop, click open in file, click downloads, find image, click open, then click the move tool and move it to your logo. It is a great design. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the 3D effect on the text. I think you could improve by making it look like the ants were holding the letters, which you could do by blending the letters to the hands
ReplyDeleteI really like the 3D effect on the text and the color contrast. I think the words and the ants are bunched together, how I would change that would be to move either the ants or words. To do that you could select the move tool and click on the object you want to move and move it.
