Earth’s Garden is a locally
owned restaurant with items only consisting of whole foods, or food that is
processed as little as possible and is free of artificial substances. So
basically only fruits and vegetables. Earth’s Garden’s menu consists mainly of
healthy, flavorful, desserts that are all natural. It’s not only about desserts
though. Earth’s Garden also has breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for the
not so sweet teeth out there. You might be thinking that the foods here can’t
possibly be good since it is truly all natural, but you’re wrong. With the
right mixtures and ingredients we hope to have made the best healthiest food
people have ever tasted. Our goal is to have made tasty natural dishes that
people will want to eat and then cut out the bad foods in their diet as well.
Background on the
founder
The founder attended Yale for
her medical degree. Alexis Shannon graduated with her PhD in medical and
nutritional studies. She conducted many researches on the nutritional value of
processed food and whole foods. She concluded that whole foods were the best
providers of all the essential nutrients needed to survive, but can also
maintain your health and reverse health induced disease and cancer. With her
findings she created Earth’s Garden to provide whole foods to people who want
to better themselves. Her goal is to turn the United States population healthy
again by stripping it of artificial foods.

and Statistics about processed food
The American diet went from a
large consumption of potatoes, wheat, and grains to low-fat milk, beef, and
poultry. With this change we have seen a dramatic increase in heart disease,
breast, colon, and prostate cancer, along with other health induce medical
conditions including obesity. As our western diet spreads around the world,
even the healthiest cultures like japan, will become as sickly as we are.
Animal fats are harmful to consume because they clog up the arteries, contain
cholesterol and an enzyme called casing the can turn on and off cancer growth.
20% of casing turns on cancer growth while 5% turns it off. Heart burn is a
side effect of consuming too much protein because protein causes the stomach to
become very acidic since it contains sulfur. The average person only needs
about 30 grams (10 pennies) of protein a day. This can easily be achieved by
eating green leafy vegetables. Spinach is actually 52% protein. Eating a lot of
protein from plants is fine for your health because it doesn’t contain the
cancer causing enzyme. Also fructose (high fructose corn syrup) is an
artificial sweetener created by our government to reduce the cost of packaged
food. Fructose tells the leptin in your brain that you’re still hungry, even if
your stomach ifs full. No wonder America is obese! Half of our food contains
fructose that gives us an unsatisfying feeling of hunger so we continue to eat.
In conclusion, meat, dairy, and fructose are the leading cause of health issues
in the world.
